These terms set out how I work with private clients and the basis on which my styling services are provided. Please read them carefully before confirming an appointment. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.
1. About me
Jeminee Stylist is operated by [legal name / company name and number], Parkside Way, North Harrow, Harrow HA2 6DA (“I”, “me”, “my”). You can contact me at info@jemineestylist.co.uk or on 07940 953883.
2. Enquiries and consultations
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or any obligation on either side. After receiving your enquiry, my team or I will be in touch to discuss your needs and recommend the most appropriate styling experience.
3. Confirming a booking
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the service, date and fee in writing and any deposit has been received. Details of what is included in each service are confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Fees and payment
- Fees are as quoted to you in writing. Bespoke and ongoing services are priced on consultation or by arrangement.
- A deposit of [50%] may be required to confirm a booking, with the balance due [before / on the day of] the appointment.
- Travel outside London, and any agreed expenses, may be charged in addition and will always be confirmed with you in advance.
- Invoices are payable within [7] days unless otherwise agreed.
5. Your clothing budget and purchases
My fees cover my time, expertise and preparation only. Your clothing budget is entirely separate and always set by you. Any items you buy are purchased from the retailer under the retailer’s own terms, including their returns and refund policies. Where I purchase or reserve items on your behalf, this is only with your prior agreement.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
- If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please let me know as soon as possible.
- Appointments rescheduled with at least [48 hours’] notice can be moved free of charge.
- Cancellations with less than [48 hours’] notice, or missed appointments, may be charged at [up to the full fee], as preparation will already have taken place.
- If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will offer you a new date or a full refund of any amount paid for that appointment.
7. Your right to cancel
If you book at a distance (for example by email or phone), you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask for your service to begin within that period, you may be charged for any work already carried out.
8. Advice and results
Styling advice is given with care, honesty and professional experience. Style is personal, however, and I cannot guarantee any particular outcome. You remain free to decide which recommendations to follow and which items to buy.
9. Your home and belongings
For appointments in your home, I will treat your space and belongings with the utmost care and discretion. Please let me know in advance of anything I should be aware of, such as items you would prefer not to be handled.
10. Photography and confidentiality
Everything shared during our work together is treated in confidence. Photographs are only taken with your agreement and are used to support your service. I will never use your images, name or story publicly without your explicit written permission. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
11. Events, experiences and gifts
Private style experiences, masterclasses and corporate events are provided under a separate written agreement confirming the scope, fees and cancellation terms. Gift experiences are valid for [12 months] from the date of purchase and are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person.
12. Liability
I will provide my services with reasonable care and skill. I am not responsible for the quality, fit or performance of items supplied by third-party retailers or brands, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
13. Website content
All content on this website, including text, images and the 24 body shape styling method, belongs to Jeminee Stylist or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Information on the website is for general guidance and may change without notice.
14. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you confirm your booking will apply to that booking.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
